The Tunics track 'Shine On' has been featured in Til Schweiger's (Inglourious Basterds, Keinohrhasen) hit film 'Zweiohrkuken', which to date has grossed $39 million, making it Warner Bros' biggest local language title of 2009.
The Tunics have been chosen to share the stage with UK Indie staples Bombay Bicycle Club on their UK tour.
The band will open up for Bombay Bicycle Club in Liverpool, Birmingham, and Newcastle.
Whilst on their European tour the band has received confirmation that Steve Strange from XRay Touring (Coldplay, Elbow, Pixies) will act on the bands behalf in booking all future UK and European shows. We are excited to be working with Steve Strange and XRay.
Legendary TV presenter Ray Cokes has personally selected the Tunics for an acoustic performance and interview at the Reeperbahn Festival (25.09.09). Having chosen only 5 bands a day (Biffy Clyro, Dinasour Jr…) Ray has asked the band to come in to his meet and greet at the Schmidt Theater. The band are delighted to attend.

The band will embark on a European club and festival tour this September with shows in Spain, Germany and Russia. This will be the first time they tour Europe and has come as the result of fan's requests in these countries.

Tunics headlining show at the O2 Academy 2 in Islington on the 23d of July is now officially sold out. The band will be performing a 90 minute set including tracks from their debut album and a new tracks from the upcoming recording of the 2nd album.
The boys will be heading up to sunny Scotland in July to play the always terrific T in the Park. You can catch them playing the Futures stage on July 12th.
The Tunics will be playing Club NME Brighton at the Coalition on April 1st.

The Tunics have chosen the incredible Joe Blanks to be their new drummer. They are very excited to be working with Joe, who in between breathing fire and drumming on the Cirque de Glace has also appeared on ITV as a teenage drumming prodigy.

Cost of Living was released today as a digital single and a 7inch vinyl. The video has been playing across E4 and NME TV while the single has been getting airplay on XFM and BBC London Radio.
