About Us
Manta Ray Music is the music management & recordings arm of Manta Ray, founded in 2005 in London, UK. In 2008, the company opened its Berlin office to serve the German market and open avenues to continental Europe.
Manta Ray focuses on early-stage A&R, seeking out innate talent and potential. Our goal is to establish long-term relationships with our artists based on fairness, hard work, and a shared passion for music.
Manta Ray also has a music publishing arm, Manta Ray Music Publishing which enables us to offer our artists world class music publishing services.
London
Gorka Odriozola: Gorka is a founding partner and head of Artist Management for Manta Ray Music London. Prior to Manta Ray Music he was a club owner and manager in Madrid, building multiple successful franchises for music-related venues.
Andre do Valle: Andre is an executive partner and head of Music Label and Music Publishing in London, as well as Finance Director. Prior to Manta Ray Music, he was a management consultant with experience in strategy, media, techonology, and finance.
Andrew Cordery: Andrew is an executive partner of Manta Ray and Head of E-Strategy and Digital Distribution. He is responsible for building the online content management and distribution platform for MRM’s artists as well as platforms for interested 3rd party labels / music management companies. Andrew is a serial entrepreneur in the e-commerce sector.
Berlin
Gonzalo Mahou: Gonzalo is a founding partner of MRM and currently General Manager of Manta Ray Music Germany. Before Manta Ray Music he was International Label Manager and A&R at BMG Spain and a Senior Associate at Bertelsmann’s media strategy group.
Jasper Niebuhr: Jasper is an artist manager and assistant A&R at MRM Berlin.
Lucie Herrmann: Lucie is a management assistant at MRM Berlin.
